Can my landlord evict me only giving me 7 days to move out?

I am 2 months behind in my rent and was served an eviction notice that is notarized. I was given 7 days. Is that legal?

What you were most likely served with is a Notice to Vacate that is probably required to be served before the landlord can start an eviction proceeding.  It is not a warrant of eviction that is generally issued after there has been an eviction proceeding completed.  Go find a tenant's rights group or legal aid to help you figure it out.  Good luck.
