You should cnsutl with an attorney who practices in the jurisdiction in which the warrant was issed. They can use their local court contact to her best advantage and possiblt even get the charge dismissed on a technicality. The fact is that a conviction will cause an increase in her (or your) insurance rates and can counted against her if she should ever receive another DUI in the future. In other words, she can ony plead as a first-time offender once.
