What to do if my 18 year old son was stopped and in his possession he had a 1/2 ounce of marijuana?
We are waiting for his charges. He was told that it would be dwi, possesion and intent to deliver. they impounded the vehicle and took his phone as well. Where do I begin with this? I am scared for him and very angry.I do not have a lot of money and he is considered an adult. What is the worst case scenario for him.

Unfortunately for you since your son is an adult and made a bad choice with what he had in his possession there is little for you to do other than see that he consults with a reputable criminal defense attorney (private or public defender) to give him guidance.
