The law in NV is that employers are required to give employees a 30-minute meal break if they will work for 8 or more hours continuously. All employers with 2 or more employees are covered by the law. However, the state labor commissioner may grant an employer an exemption so that they don't have to provide such breaks if they can prove that business necessity prevents it from dong so. That having been said, if you beleive that your employer is breaking the law, you need to file a complaint with your stae's department of labor; make sure to have your proof to back up your claim.
