The ticket/citiation that you have written about does not in and of itself preclude you from getting a permit for a firearm, to purchase certain guns or have a permit to carry a concealed weapon since you have not been convicted of the offense which most likely would be a misdemeanor from what you have written.
However, if you are convicted of the charges that you have written about, there is a possibility that the misdemeanor conviction may in and of itself prevent you from having any use of firearms in the state that you reside. I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney further about the questions that you have written about and the criminal charges against you.
