Can a passenger be held liable if it is determined he/she caused an accident?
I am really confused. This particular night I was being taken home do to being extremely intoxicated. My driver was completley sober. I blacked out and next thing I know the car is on its roof. My friend says I was being hysterical and that I actually grabbed the wheel. I don’t remember nothing about that night or even the police taking my report. Nothing has happened yet. Don’t know what to think at this point.

If the driver can have some solid evidence that you were the one who caused the accident then yes the driver could hold you liable for damages.
