You give no details of your case. However, tresspassing charges can and do go to trial. Again, it all depends on the circumstances. For a simple tresspass, you may well be able to avoid trial and have a plea bargain reached. And if you hire an attorney, they may be able to get the charges reduced or dismissed. However, the outcome will also depend on what, if any, prior criminal record you may have. At this point, you should at least consult with a criminal law attorney to discuss your options.
