The divorce papers say that the wife is responsible for all debt from the house. Does she need to refinance?
If the loan is in the husbands name, and the house is now the wifes, in order to remove the husband from the property insurance, does the wife have to refinance the house? She is not on the loan at this time, just the husband.

You would have to work with your ex in figuring out how to purchase the home from your husband. Why? You cannot refinance a house in which the loan is not in your name.
