What legal action can I take if my stepmother cashed a check under my name with my consent but won’t give me the money?
My stepmother cashed a check that was under my name with my consent because I was out of the country. After asking her for the money, she refuses to give it to me. Also, she lied about my age to cash the check.

Is she claiming that the money is owed to her for some other debt? You have two options depending on the amount of money in question. You can file a suit in Small Claims Court suing her for the money or you can file a complaint with the police.
