If was with my girlfriend for 12 years and now we’ve split up is she entitled to my savings?

We were engaged and I lived at her house. Now she says that she’s entitled to my savings.

No, she is not. "Girlfriend" is a not a legal relationship, like spouse: it gives her NO rights whatsoever to your money or anything else you own. If there was some agreement or contract between the two of you would pay something (rent; or pay utilities, mortgage, and/or taxes; etc.) in exchange for living at her house, she can enforce that agreement or contract by a "breach of contract" lawsuit if necessary to make you pay the agreed-upon amounts; however, in the absence of such an agreement, she would have no right to your savings.
