If my girlfriend and I bought a house together but have now split up, how would the proceeds get split?

On the mortgage we are stated as 50/50 owners. After a couple years of owning the house we decided to split up. If she paid the bulk of the mortgage, yet I contributed much manual labor in terms of house upgrades, as well as towards other bills

for the house utilities, cable, etc.

If you are 50-50 owners, then the proceeds of the house, if any, will be distributed equally. First, you pay the costs of sale and pay off the mortgage (if it's not already been paid off); then the remaining equity is divided between you.
