If on probation, are my house
guests liable to get searched
also, if probation conducts a
search while they are present,
visiting me at my home?

They cannot be searched without their consent (or a warrant): your probation officer is not *their* probation officer and has no authority over them. That said, if they refuse to allow a search, it can potentially look bad for you, if there is any evidence or reason to suspect they are holding contraband for you or that you are otherwise trying to hide something using them.
