What to do if my dead father left his money/estate to a woman with whom he had a relationship and who cared for him during his illness?

I was told that as his blood child (son) I am entitled to monies/his estate despite not being named in a will/legal document. Is this so? How do I go about claiming my inheritance?

If your father left everything to this woman, and if he was of sound mind at the time he drew up his will, then she will get everything and you will get nothing.  The only exception would be if you could prove this woman exerted undo influence over him and tricked or coerced him into changing his will to leave everything to her.  If you believe this was the case, you should hire a wills, trusts and estates attorney to help you bring your claim.
