If my daughter was arrested for a misdeamenor charge with a $1000 fine, does she need legal representation?

She has a court date next month. She can pay the fine.

A misdemeanor charge is still a serious offense and can cause a black eye to your daughters criminal record if convicted. My advice is to always contact a criminal defense attorney to handle criminal matters to seek a successful resolution of your case. If you can not afford counsel, the court can appoint one for you if you qualify.
