What to do if my 16 year old son hit a parked RV camper but did not have a driver’s license?

The owner of the camper has not gotten any repair estimates; he said that I need to buy the camper from him or he will take me to court. What are my rights in this matter?

Given what you have writte about, I suggest that you consult with an attotney in your locality to write a letter to the camper's owner seeking several estimates for the unit's repairs. From them, you contact the perosn making an estimate and then try to resolve the dispute via payment for the cost of repair.
