Who is requesting to know  the town the home was manufactured in--the possible or prospective buyer? There is no law requiring this information when you sell, so it may be that you have to look for a different buyer, one who doesn't care about this, if this buyer is insisting on it...or possibly reduce the price or offer to pay some costs for the buyer, to convince him to purchase it without getting this answer.
