A will: a will is how you determine who will inherit from you when you pass away, and furthermore, only a will determines who receives what from your estate (that is, from the property, assets, and money you leave behind). A simple will can be drafted quickly and inexpensively by an attorney, and the attorney can also make sure it is properly signed and witnessed. (A will that is not signed or witnessed in accordance with your state's laws is not valid.) Get a will drawn up, executed, and witnessed, and give a copy to your fiance for safe keeping.
