I turned in my uniform but didn’t receive my check. I can’t get reasonable answer. What am I to do and who can give me answers?

If you were fired/laif off, you should have been paid on your last day of work. If were not, you have to demand the pay in writing. If you still haven't been paid after 7 days, your employer has to pay your regular salary for every day that you have to wait for your final pay up to 60 days. However, if you quit, you should be paid on the next regular payday. If necessary, you can sue your former employer is small claims cout for cases involving up to $3,000.
