Absolutely. There is no legal bar to doing so at all. The only complexity is making sure that taxes are withheld and paid properly. Since that can be a complex matter, you should get a good accountant or tax attorney, one who specializes in international taxation and people working for foreign companies, to help you navigate. (Maybe you can get your employer to reimburse you for at least part of, if not all, the cost.)
