Is being charged with a felony the only thing they will charge you for or is there something else they can do instead of a felony charge?

I would think that anything that is associated with the gun would be charged: possessing a stolen firearm, selling a stolen forearm, etc. And how "minor" is the minor? If the "minor" is close enough to be an adult then he or she may not be charged as a minor. And the prosecutor can make an argument why that may be. This is a very dangerous and serious offense and I would be very careful about how it is handled. The minor needs to seek legal help as soon as he or she can regarding the handling of the matter in Court. Do not just wait until he or she is pulled in and charged. Seek help now. Good luck.
