No news is good news, in this case.  It's up to the prosecutor to press charges, and sometimes on marijuana cases they simply don't bother.  You don't have any legal duty to go ask if they want to send you back to jail!

If you gave a false address to the authorities, though, they might have filed charges that you don't know about, and there might be a warrant out for your arrest.

Has your friend been charged?  If so, he might know if charges were filed against you as well.

If you gave a true address when you were arrested, and you haven't been charged, and if you can avoid getting arrested again for a year or two, that might be the end of it.
