I am so sorry for your situation. The basis for the suit would I think be alientation of affection. However, it is my understanding that South Carolina does not recognize such suits anymore. They abolished the law in the 90's. I think that you should seek help from an attorney in your area on the matter. A child born during marriage is considered a child of the marriage so there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. Good luck.
