If I live and work a job in one state but want to start an internet based business out of another state, can I do that?
I don’t want to pay any taxes or fees to the state that I live in.

You can start an internet business in a state that is not your state or residence. If you do, I suggest that you consult with a business law attorney as to incorporating your business in the desired state or creating a limited liability company (llc) in it.
