Since I have been pre-approved for Chapter 7 but the fees for the service are $2000, is there a service I can use for free or much less money?
I am a sole proprietor of my company for 18.5 years and have never missed a payment to my credit cards. I am unable to continue to pay the high percentages and have tried to recover by living with friends and selling my assets. I understand that this is my best option at this time. Do I need to close my company if I file Chapter 7?

If you file personal bankruptcy and depending on how you ran your company, you may need to account for that company in your assets/liabilities. Talk to the trustee and see what needs to be done. As far as not paying for the service, try legal aid or consumer credit counseling agencies in your neighborhood to see if you can get this at a lower rate/fee.
