there is nothing improper about the reporting of a debt that you had with one credit reporting agency that was removed and then later reinstated either with the same credit reporting company or another one.
Different companies for credit reporitng have different protocols on how long they may keep a reported debt upon one's credit history. If you owe the debt that you are writing about, the best way to have it removed assuming it is not time barred is to pay it off.
Another option is to hire a credit repair company to assist you about the situation you are writing about.
