It is hard to say whether the restaurant is at fault with the little information you provided. It must be determined that whether the floor was wet due to an action by the restaurant employee or it was wet long enough and the restaurant had ample notice and time to clean up. Once the fault is determined, then there are ways to get them to pay, including a small claim suit.
