can i sell my business, no store front?
can i sell my music teaching business going into its 15th year – no store front, lessons are in the home of the student, no profit showing but lots of potential (independent contractors, expansion) – i would like to keep the existing students and teach in my name (not the business name). thanks

You are entitled to sell your business and retain clients. However, and based on what you appear to be thinking about, why not withdraw the business from bing registered and just shut down and run the busienss out of your own name? does the busiess have lots of dent that? Why are you not just change the name to you pesonannly. Thuis wil alow you to keep clients. You sound like are just tring to leave the space. This simple transfer of the restaurant to you individually (or i suggest a diierenct (LLC)
