If my brother was told that he had to serve 2 5 year sentences concurrently but his paperwork stated it is supposed to be served consecutively, how does he fix this?

He must file a Motion with the sentencing Judge to modify the sentencing Order.  It may be possible to reach an agreement to modify the sentencing order with the prosecutor. if not, a transcript of the sentencing hearing should determine what was, in fact ordered.
