Will my expunged DUI show up on a criminal background check?

What will a perspective employer see when they do a criminal background check on me. My DUI was from 11 years ago and is expunged. I’m told they will see the arrest and the expungement. What is the fact? Is there a quick way to find out myself?

Unless you were a minor when you were convicted of the DUI which you subsequently had the conviction expunged, the expungment with respect to this conviction will most likely continue to show up on all background checks concerning you.

People who receive such a report on you will see your arrest for a charge and the expungment where the conviction is eliminated as a matter of law.
