Will a new listing agreement automatically void a previous one.

We signed a listing agreement without being able to read it. After reading I was unhappy with terms contained in it. If both parties signed and dated a new listing agreement would it automatically void the previous one?

If the new listing agreement is fully as comprehensive as the old one, it would be generally held to void and replace the prior one, though it would be the better course to include a clause or term in it that the new agreement supercedes and replaces the older one--that avoids any ambiguity or confusion.
If the new agreement is much narrower than the old one, it would likely be taken to simply amend or revise the prior one, leaving any terms not specifically in the new agreement intact and in place.
