You can do one of two things in this situation - you can file a wage claim with your state's department of labor or you can file suit in small claims court (if you win, your employer will be liable for all filing costs). Also, in most states, penalties attach to the time in which a paycheck was wrongfully witheld. You can go online to find out the law in your state.
