Crimes of 'moral turpitude' such as theft crimes and sex crimes can be grounds for deportation.  I suspect a felony conviction alone could suffice to provide grounds for your deportation.  As a result, you will need to ensure that your criminal defense attorney understands (and explains to you) the immigration ramifications of your crime and any plea agreement.  Good luck.
