When heirs do not agree, can inherited property be sold?

3 sisters inherited the house when their mother died without a Will. The house deed has been changed to their names. How can the matter of selling or renting the house be resolved it they can not agree?

This is not an easy question to give guidance on.  All the sisters have an equal right to the home and an equal say.  They can go to court to over rule one of them but it could get expensive.  There is also something known as an action for partition where a party who owns property with other parties asks the court to divide that property equally between them.  With real property that usually results in a sale of the property and division of the sale money.  Seek help.  Maybe some one can help you resolve the issue amicably.  Good luck.
