I now have a judgment against me but can’t pay it. How will they get their money and can I get in trouble?

If there is a judgement against you then the creditor can execute on the judgement in any way that the law will allow in your state: levy a bank account, garnsh wages, file a lien on real property, etc. It may be possible for you to negotiate with the creditor. Seek other options. Good luck.
