What should I do if my 20 year old daughter was just arrested for the use and possession of a fake ID?

She has a fine of $1500 and has a court date. What may the consequences be and advice how to go about this?

Your 20 year old daughter is an adult who has been charged with possessing a fake identification card to presumably obtain alcohol. I suggest that your daughter consult with a criminal defense attorney as to the best way to resolve the charge against her.

Most likely there will be some plea offer made to her by the district attorney's office where if accepted she would be placed upon court probation, ordered to do community service work and pay a fine. If she is successful with the court probation, then most likely the court will then dismiss the charge against her resulting in no criminal record.
