A felony case is a seroius matter, even for a first-time offender. It is strongly advised that you obtain legal counsel, especcially since jail time is a possibility. Hire an criminal law attorney who practices in the area of where the incident happend as they can best advise you further and use their local court contacts to your best advantage.
