I am so sorry for your loss. There are time constraints in contesting a Will but not neccearily with a Trust. You can contest a trust for a number of reasons: you think that the settlor was unduly influenced or not competant at the time the trust was created. You need to read the terms and make sure that by contesting you do not lose your right to benefit as well. You have rights as a trust beneficiary: to receive a copy, for an accounting, to enforce terms and to make sure the trustee is doing what he ir she is supposed to do. You should take th trust to some one to read and help you determine the correct path. Good luck.
