I’m a non US citizen and got married with my US citizen boyfriend. What is the

If you entered the US lawfully and are now married to a US citizen, you are eligible to apply for adjustment of status to permanent residence (green card) on the basis of that marriage.  That will allows you to also obtain a social security card.  You can either apply for this on your own if you feel you can do it correctly or you can have an immigration attorney assist you with the process.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance with this matter.
