What is the difference between a medical trust fund and a regular medical insurance?

I have a PPO insurance under my job and union which is apperantly a trust fund and I am also cover under my wife’s hmo trough her work. I would like to know who becomes my primary insurance?

One would need to read the plans in order to determine what the differences and similarites are.  It could be nothing more that establishing a plan adminsitrator, etc.  But if you are covered under your own insurance I would venture to guess that that insurance is primary and your wife's secondary.  Good luck.
