What happens if you don;t return the reaffirmation agreement to the finance company?

I was going to reaffirm my car loan but decided to turn the car in. I have not returned the the reaffirm papers. What happens now? I did the creditor hearing already. Do I have to ammend the bankruptcy petition?

reaffirming your debt  has nothing to do with the creditor's meeting.  You don't need to do anything if you decided not to reaffirm, except turn in the car.
