What happens if I sell community property before my divorce is final?

We owned a truck during our marriage. Before I filed for the divorce I was in the process of selling it.

Money exchanged hands just title transfer happened after filed for divorce. What could possibly happen to me for transfer happening after?

Generally speaking, most states have what is known as an automatic stay prohibiting transfer of a marital asset once a divorce petition has been filed.  If you do transfer it you could be violating the stay.  If you are intent on doing it then I would set aside half of the funds for your spouse. Seek legal help there.
