What documents do you need in order to modify an existing LLC?

We are in the process of changing a member’s controlling interest. Do we need to do anything other than sign a new operating agreement and file a new statement of information?

You need to file a Limited Liability Company Certificate of Amendment form with the California Secretary of State (SOS) by mail or in person or if you are restating the articles of incorporation (if you change the articles directly on this form),  a Limited Liability Company Restated Articles of Organization form and a fee of $30 with the SOS.
