What can I legally do about unruly neighbors?

I live in a sub-division on a private road, everyone owns their home except one family (which are the unruly tenants). What can be done about the situation?

If people occupying a home in your neighborhood are unruly, I would first meet with them to see what can be done to make things a bit more enjoyable for all concerned in the neighborhood. If that does not achieve the desired result, I would contact the landlord about the nuisance issue caused by his or her tenants and request that the landlord resolve the problem for the neighborhood.

If the landlord fails to do so, your recourse would be to file a nuisance action against the tenants and the landlord seeking a court order that the problem cease. If you decide to file a nuisance action, I suggest that you consult with a real estate attorney to assist you.
