What can I do to protect and ensure that my child doesn’t have to go back to an abusive environment?
My ex and her boyfriend had my child taken away from them because he was abusive to her. My ex got her back, however, ahe then sent our daughter to me because her boyfriend started abusing her again. I also want to stop the child support payments to my ex.

Please, please, please go to court as soon as possible and ask the court to give you temporary sole custody of your daughter based upon the facts and "the best interests of the child." You can not stop paying support until a court tells you to. But you need an emergency petition for custody filed now. Good luck.
