Can one get an uncontested divorce in Texas when the couple got married in NC. If so, what are the requirements?

Yes, you can get divorced in Texas.  It isn't necessarily the state in which you are married.  It is the state in which you file that has certain residency requirements.  For Texas, you have to have lived in the state for 6 months before you file and the county in which you file for 3 months prior to filing. Besides that, you basically have to agree on all the issues in your divorce to have it be uncontested.  Good luck.
