What are the penalties regarding minors and driving under the influence of marijuana?
I recently was charged with driving under the influence of marijuana. I failed the roadside assessment and the officer arrested me and took me to the hospital for a blood test. I am 17 years old and this is my first offense of any kind. What is a likely sentence?

The penalties with respect to minors driving under the influence of marijuana if convicted are essentially the same as if an adult is convicted of the same offense except that the process goes through the juvenile court system and the conviction if any are sealed as a matter of law.
The likely sentence if convicted is the suspension of your driver's license for six (6) months, a fine of $1,500 or so, attending classes concerning the dangers of drinknig and driving, one year probation and 200 or so hours of community service.
