What are my rights as far as being evicted from a mobile home park when I own the trailer?

I’ve lived here 20 years with my children. Aprox 10 yrs ago the park was turned into a 55 and older park. I was granfathered in. Since then my son has had a child now I am being told they have to move out. I was laid off from my job so they are helping me pay my bills.

What you will need to do is consult the bylaws of the trailer park. There will be a clause discussing the grandfathered rights and what and what is not grandfathered in.

Oftentimes they will allow for example a person under 55 to remain but not to continue allowing additinal younger individuals to move in or live there.

However you should consult a local attorney because they may be able to help you. Once you get the paperwork together read it over and if you think you will have a valid cause of action pursue it with a local attorney. good luck
