What are my options if I am fired from my job as the result of my dentist having to reschedule me 3 times?

I have a top set of false teeth. I work in the food industry as a waitress and I had a problem with my dentures to the point where I was unable to wear them. Without my top teeth I am unable to work. I had an appointment set and then the dentist had an emergency rescheduling. That put me out of work for another whole week. The day before my next appointment they called again having to reschedule me 2 weeks out, which will end up being a total of 4 weeks out of work. Due to this rescheduling, I now no longer have a job. No, you have no recourse (no legal grounds to sue) against the dentist:
1) The dentist has no duty to schedule for your work needs or convenience; without a legal duty to do this, there is no liability to failing to do so.
2) The vast majority of people do not lose their jobs due to a lack of dentures--therefore, this was unforeseeable. But you cannot sue people for unforeseeable losses, even if there otherwise had been a duty; people are only responsible for the reasonably foreseeable (normally or commonly predictable consequences) of their actions.
