What are my best options to get my name off of a loanthat Itook out for my now ex-boyfriend?

I took it out 4 years ago and now he’s not paying. I can’t afford it. What should I do?

Unfortunately since you signed a loan for an article that your former boyfriend has possession of, you are respinsible for it until the loan is paid in full. If your former boyfriend is not paying on the loan that you took out, you need to get him to start paying on it and then have the loan refinanced where the loan is in his name and not yours.

Unless the above is done, you ultimately will be responsible to pay the monthly debt load of the loan until it is paid in full.

Another option is to contact an attorney who deals with contract law to see what recourse can be done with respect to your former boyfriend's obligation to you on the loan that you have written about.
