There is no set age where a child is required to come off his or her parent's health insurance plan. Meaning, if the insurance carrier is willing to place insurance for the child as an insured and premiums are timely paid, then the child remains as an insured under the policy.
From a practical matter, when the child graduates from college and takes a job offering health insurance benefits, the parent then removes him or her from the parent's health insurance policy after notice is given to the child.
